HerbieTech Auto Ltd is an independent engine repair garage in Lincoln. We focus on the jobs main dealers rush and chain garages avoid — misfires, head gasket failures, timing faults, overheating and stubborn warning lights — and explain everything in plain English before any spanner moves.
Our story
From driveway repairs to a dedicated engine workshop.
HerbieTech started where most good garages do — fixing friends' and family's cars on a driveway, taking on the awkward engine jobs nobody else wanted to touch. Word spread, the bookings stacked up, and a proper unit on Thorpe Lane in Lincoln became the natural next step.
Today the workshop is fully kitted out for engine work: two-post lift, manufacturer-level diagnostic kit, smoke and pressure testing, compression and leak-down equipment, plus the bench space and torque tools needed for head gasket jobs, timing repairs and full rebuilds.
We've stayed deliberately small. You speak to the technician working on your car, you get a written quote before any repair starts, and you get an honest answer when a job is or isn't worth doing.
